In 2004 Spring semester, I took Dr. Jerry Wagner's special topic class Design and Development of Interactive Software with FlashMX. Our semester-long project is to build an original software application of our choice. The top ones were selected to present on May 27, 2004 and to be judged by executives from Omaha business. The judges would decide which of the nine will receive awards of $1000.
I designed this program brochure for the event, as well as participated as one of the finalists and award winners.
May 2003, while I was a MIS (Management Information Systems) student in PKI, University of Nebraska at Omaha, I joined VIA Design Lab as one of the founding members. Dr. Jerry Wagner, the faculty founder of the lab, brought in many leading experts around the country to give seminars, workshops and classes in new media to students who were interested in the design and development of interactive multimedia applications. I've been designing and creating marketing materials for most of events.
