Various Flyers and Posters

flyers designed by Liz | aboutliz.com - Graphic Design

May 2003, while I was a MIS (Management Information Systems) student in PKI, University of Nebraska at Omaha, I joined VIA Design Lab as one of the founding members. Dr. Jerry Wagner, the faculty founder of the lab, brought in many leading experts around the country to give seminars, workshops and classes in new media to students who were interested in the design and development of interactive multimedia applications. I've been designing and creating marketing materials for most of events.

01The New Breed of Software Designer/Developer/Engineer
Poster designed for seminar by Dr. Jerry Wagner | February 2004

Dr. Wagner will present his views on the rapid emerging new breed of software designer and developer. He thinks of this new breed as being a combination of artist, computer scientist, and engineer. Practitioners have long advocated that the interface is the software. This new breed is designing and developing the first non traditional software interfaces that result in fun and engaging end user experiences. The new development platforms have first been used for developing entertainment movies. However, the tools are now being used for developing business and decision supporting applications. Example demonstrations will also be presented by some of his Via Design students.
